Description
Our oversized button-up, cut in Keli Bloom printed silk twill, scaled up so the flowers read across the body. Boxy and close to square, grounded by an inverted box pleat at the back, a high-low shirttail hem and a chest patch pocket. Gold logo buttons run the placket and close the wide double-layer cuffs. The peak collar is finished by hand with 4 mm brass beads. Every seam inside is a French seam.

Keli means play, pleasure and joyful pastime in Sanskrit. The print begins with flowers remembered differently by our two co-founders. For Fatema, growing up in England as an immigrant, cherry blossoms offered moments of spiritual beauty, escape and awe. For Lily, they appeared on century-old English china carried through generations of her family.
On the shirt, those memories become generous. The scale is larger, the silhouette looser, the cherry blossom given room to spread. It is a joyful embrace of a flower that is abundant rather than rare, and a reminder that beauty does not become less meaningful because it appears again and again.
