In the Tarala print, golden tigers rest beside the water, their reflections floating among pink lotus. Spread open, the scarf reveals the whole scene. Folded around the body, fragments of the garden appear and disappear as you move.
In Sanskrit, Tarala evokes something in gentle flow, shimmering, glowing and vibrating with divine source. We imagined it as a river made of stardust, always moving and quietly luminous, with your knowing.
Wrap yourself in that feeling. Let the silk move around you like water, catching light, shifting shape, never entirely still.
Carry the glow with you.

The Story In The Print
Still Water Tiger places the tiger at rest beside the water, printed on pure silk twill for weight, drape and glow.

A tiger by the water, watchful and calm. Power held, not spent.

Still water gives the print its depth: reflections, ripples and quiet.

Pure silk twill, heavier than habotai, with a diagonal weave that catches light as it moves.

Why Ashaki exists
"I make clothes for the woman who is becoming. Every print carries a story, resilience, joy, quiet strength and every stitch is placed by hand, by artisans whose craft carries generations. When you wear Ashaki, you wear that story."
