Description

Celebrate a bled of many influences with this lightweight cotton poplin dress. When you look at her, you will feel South Asia, Europe, and North America. This piece has personality. She will hold you and let you play joyfully.

The hibiscus speaks of beauty as resilience and power. The parakeet evokes joy and playful freedom. Both are set against a backdrop of red stripes, speaking of Maya, magic and maternal, tender love. A reminder of how we must speak to self for true growth and becoming. The floral garlands will bring you back mindfully to the moment.

The embroidered version of this dress is hand-embroidered using traditional Indian techniques like Aari stitching, Moti Ka Kaam beadwork, Bharai satin fill, Phanda knots, and Resham threadwork. This dress is for the bold woman who wants to explore and play whilst she grows and becomes.

The embroidery in person is unreal — people stop me to ask about the parakeet. Worth every dollar.

Bought the non-embroidered version for everyday. The fabric is structured but soft, and the lining makes it so comfortable.
